Dr. Cheryl Plaza is a board-certified Naturopathic Physician and licensed Chinese Medicine practitioner specializing in functional medicine and women's hormone health. She established the Northwest Center for Natural Medicine in Olympia, WA, in 2001 with her husband. Dr. Plaza is passionate about empowering patients with knowledge and helping them map out the best way to achieve their health goals. She utilizes natural and functional medicine principles to discover the root cause of a patient's symptoms and employs a wide range of therapeutic modalities to create unique treatment programs. With over 24 years of experience, Dr. Plaza has gained expertise in addressing hormone imbalances, thyroid issues, adrenal issues, autoimmune disease, environmental medicine, mold toxicities, digestive health, SIBO, and long-haul COVID and spike injuries. She believes in personalized medicine and integrates naturopathic therapies, functional medicine research, and advanced hormone and genetic testing to create personalized protocols.
