About Center for Innovative Medicine
The Center for Innovative Medicine (CIM) at Johns Hopkins Bayview, founded in 2005, functions as a think-tank and incubator dedicated to improving medicine as a public trust. CIM focuses on developing innovative clinical centers, enhancing medical education, and engaging the community to reduce healthcare disparities. They support early-career faculty through the Next Generation Scholars program, fostering innovation in research, education, and clinical care. CIM's mission involves bringing bright minds from various fields to explore ways to improve medicine, testing ideas through small programs, and implementing them on a larger scale.
