About Anna Abele
Anna Abele is a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) practicing in Guilford, VT, and also in Northampton, MA. She offers experience, knowledge, and skill to help patients live a whole and healthy life. Dr. Abele emphasizes listening to patients and treating them with respect, taking the time to identify the root cause of health issues and supporting patients in a way that works for them. She focuses on holistic health, botanical/herbal medicine, endocrinology/hormonal medicine, alternative & complimentary medicine, preventative medicine & optimal health, women's health, men's health, and pediatric care. Dr. Abele's approach to naturopathic medicine is guided by six principles: the healing power of nature, identifying and treating the causes of illness, first do no harm, doctor as teacher, treating the whole person, and prevention. She considers physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, social, spiritual, and other factors to provide comprehensive care. She aims to provide the most comprehensive care possible. To book an appointment, established patients with portal access can schedule through the patient portal. New patients, or established patients without portal access, can call or text the office to schedule. Dr. Abele no longer accepts private insurance as of August 1, 2025, but does accept Vermont Medicaid and Dr Dinosaur (as a specialist, not for primary care, in the Vermont office only).
