Dr. Alexandra Carswell Engle (Dr. ACE) is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor specializing in personalized natural medicine. She emphasizes optimizing the body's terrain with personalized natural medicine, addressing concerns from a root-cause perspective. Dr. ACE completed her medical education at Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona, with extensive additional training in Bio-identical Hormone Replacement therapy including Physiologic Hormone Restoration, Athletic Performance, Environmental Medicine and Regenerative Injection therapies. She is passionate about empowering patients to understand their bodies and create their ideal health, working with them as partners in achieving their health goals. Dr. ACE's personal experiences with pain and dysfunction have fueled her passion for treating others. She understands how acute and chronic pain can affect performance and recovery and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. She utilizes functional diagnostic testing to guide treatment strategies, including stool, saliva, urine, and blood testing, depending on the patient's presentation. Her approach encourages patients to actively participate in their health journey, making informed decisions about nutrition, lifestyle, and various therapies. Dr. ACE is also on staff at Bastyr University in San Diego, instructing students in Clinical Laboratory Skills and Physical Medicine.
