Adam Learner, L.Ac., practices functional medicine, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine at Family Acupuncture & Wellness. He uses a holistic approach, combining the wisdom of Chinese medicine with evidence-based functional medicine. Adam strives to provide a different type of healthcare, focused not only on efficient relief but also on correcting the root causes of symptoms. He has experience working with patients in both private practice and hospital environments and found that many patients are dissatisfied with conventional care. Adam earned his master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture. He apprenticed with master herbalist Dr. Tao Xie, MD, LAc, and learned methodologies to treat chronic medical conditions, with a special emphasis on women's health issues, hormones, digestive issues, and infertility. Adam is board-certified to practice acupuncture in New Hampshire and was one of the first board-certified herbalists in the state. He has served on the Integrative Therapies Committee at a hospital and participated regularly with the Northern New England Spine Center. Adam is also an accomplished speaker, often presenting lectures on acupuncture, functional medicine, and healthy living at hospitals and universities.
